Time to try somewhere new

Quick take. Bangkok now has well over a dozen padel clubs. If you always play at the same one, here are seven worth a visit: two for rainy evenings (Kross Rama 4, Sterling), one open-air (Kross Sky), one for late nights west of the river (RSC), and three good-value clubs in the east (Beat Discovery, PdPk, Sunshine Padel).

Most players in Bangkok find a home club and stick to it. That is fine, but trying a new court is one of the easiest ways to meet new players and find games at times that suit you. Our full court guide ranks every club; these are seven that newer players often haven't tried.

For rainy evenings: indoor courts

Kross Padel Rama 4. The Kross network's fully indoor club: three courts under one roof off Rama IV Road, near Khlong Toei MRT. Games go ahead whatever the weather. In the Kross app it is listed as "Kross Indoor".

Sterling. A sport and wellness club on Sukhumvit 24, near Phrom Phong BTS, with five indoor padel courts plus pickleball and squash. It runs one of the fullest event calendars in the city, booked through the Sterling app.

For open air in town

Kross Padel Sky. Two outdoor courts on Sukhumvit 49 in Thonglor, a short ride from Thong Lo BTS, with regular Kross Americanos. Best on dry evenings once the heat has dropped. More clubs nearby on our Sukhumvit area page.

For late nights west of the river

RSC Sports Club. A multi-sport club in Taling Chan with three covered padel courts, open until midnight on weekdays and 1am at weekends. The closest padel for anyone on the Thonburi side.

For good value in the east

Beat Discovery. Four covered courts off Sukhumvit 66/1, near Udom Suk BTS, with pickleball too. Off-peak games are among the cheapest in east Bangkok. Book through the club's LINE account.

PdPk. A small club in Nong Bon, Prawet, with two covered courts at 880 THB an hour all day, one of the lowest prices in Bangkok. Book through LINE.

Sunshine Padel. Four courts on Bang Na-Trat Soi 2, some covered and some outdoor, near Bang Na BTS. 880 THB an hour off-peak, with weekend Americanos on Playtomic. See all the clubs nearby on our Bang Na area page.

A tip before you go

Prices and opening hours change, so check the club's own page or app before you travel. The easiest way to try a new club is an Americano: you meet six or seven players in one evening. Find one on the tournaments page.
